What it is
SimpleHelp combines remote support, unattended access, device monitoring, automation and security for businesses and IT teams. Technicians can start on-demand support sessions without first installing software on a user’s device. Remote-control sessions include file transfer, resource monitoring, command-line access and clipboard management, while monitoring provides real-time device status, custom alerts and actions. WebTech lets technicians manage their queue and launch sessions through a browser without installing the app. Customers can deploy a self-hosted server on-premises, on their own infrastructure or in the cloud. Authentication can connect with Active Directory, Entra ID, OpenID, LDAP or RADIUS, and the Web API exposes session and server data for other systems. SimpleHelp says session data is end-to-end encrypted and transmitted through networks customers control, with data encrypted in transit and at rest. Security controls include IP restrictions, technician authorization, multi-factor authentication, granular permissions and audits. Licensing is based on concurrently active sessions, not technician accounts or devices. SimpleHelp has no free plan; its pricing note starts from $270 and includes a 30-day trial.
