SignPlot
Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom
What it is
SignPlot is Windows software for laying out traffic signs and applying rules from TSRGD and the Traffic Signs Manual. It runs without separate CAD software and generates parking plates, regulatory signs, and supplementary plates, including permitted TSRGD variants. While a sign is being defined, it displays a solid-colour preview and automatically sizes and positions text and symbols, with spelling checks and hints. The software produces vector graphics for sign manufacture and supports vector and raster export formats. It can translate Welsh for bilingual plates and supports Scottish Gaelic on directional signs. SignPlot also connects with Causeway SignLoad for structural design of sign supports and foundations. Causeway lists version 4.0 on its download page; a form is required to request a download. Users can access additional resources through a secure login-only area, and a support portal is available for download issues. Pricing is on request.
