Sidebery
What it is
Sidebery is a Firefox extension for managing tabs and bookmarks from a sidebar. Customizable panels can display tabs, bookmarks, and browsing history. Tabs can appear in a flat list or tree, use custom group names and colors, and be sorted; tabs in folded branches or inactive panels can unload automatically. Container features can bind containers to tabs panels, reopen tabs in a target container by URL, and set proxy and User-Agent configurations for container tabs. Users can adjust context menus, mouse and keyboard controls, drag-and-drop behavior, and sidebar and group-page styles with variables or custom CSS. Snapshots can save information about open windows and tabs. Sidebery stores data locally by default, with optional sync through Firefox Sync or Google Drive; users choose which settings and selected tab data to synchronize. The extension is free and licensed under MIT. Its maker warns that add-ons that reposition, move, or sort tabs may conflict with it. Firefox also does not allow extensions to hide the native horizontal tab bar; the project points to userChrome.css workarounds.

Who it suits
Sidebery suits Firefox users who want to organize tabs, bookmarks, and browsing history in customizable sidebar panels. It may be less suitable alongside add-ons that reposition or sort tabs.
