What it is
SameGoal Special Education helps school districts manage IEPs, evaluations, progress reports, and related records using state-published forms aligned with IDEA. Staff can edit documents together in real time, use built-in chat, and collaborate during parent meetings. Automated checks flag missing, inconsistent, or non-compliant information, and documents cannot be completed until all checks pass. The forms library includes required, optional, and model forms published by state education departments. Districts can share documents electronically for parents to view and sign on laptops, tablets, and phones. Directors can review documents across a district, use administrative reports, and extract state reporting data; participation and deadlines are tracked automatically. SIS connections support nightly student and parent demographic imports and display completed documents in the SIS. Plans are priced per student for the 2026–27 school year: Standard is $12.98 a year, Plus $15.28 a year, and Pro $17.97 a year. A free 90-day trial is offered, but there is no free plan.
