Rollgate
What it is
Rollgate is a feature-flag platform for engineering teams that supports targeting, scheduled changes, gradual rollouts, and rollback. Its SDK evaluates flags locally in process in under a millisecond, avoiding a network hop for each evaluation. Rollgate lists 12 SDKs covering React, Vue, Angular, Svelte, browser, Node.js, Go, Python, Java, .NET, React Native, and Flutter. A REST API manages flags, projects, and users programmatically. Previous configurations, including targeting rules and rollout percentages, can be restored in under a second. A/B testing is available on Pro and above, with experiment events sent to Segment, Mixpanel, PostHog, or a webhook. Rollgate says its EU-hosted cloud keeps data in Germany and is GDPR-compliant by default, with TLS 1.3 in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, scoped API keys, and audit logging. Self-hosting is not currently available. Plans are Free at no cost, Starter at €45 a month, Pro at €119 a month, and Growth at €349 a month.
