Rolisteam
What it is
Rolisteam is a free, open-source virtual table for tabletop role-playing game sessions, available for Windows, macOS, Linux, and self-hosted setups. Its chat supports global and direct conversations, additional channels, dice commands, and clickable links. Mind maps organize notes as connected nodes with images, packages, and tags, while interactive, multi-page character sheets can be built over PDF backgrounds with fields, buttons, formulas, or JavaScript. Three independent audio players can handle ambient music, sound effects, or background tracks, but they do not stream audio files; players need access to the playlist files or URLs. The PDF viewer can crop page content to the clipboard for sharing or placing on a game map or mind map. DiceParser commands work in Rolisteam and its Discord bot. A 3D dice feature is marked as a technical preview and supports d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20, and d100. Roliserver is designed to host multiple games on one computer. The download page lists Windows, macOS, and Linux options, though its Ubuntu package is available only for Ubuntu 26.04 Resolute Raccoon.
