RimModManager
What it is
RimModManager is a free, open-source application for organizing RimWorld mods across different game installations. It supports Steam, GOG, Proton, Wine, Flatpak, and standalone setups, with platform-specific detection options. Users can save and load profiles, reorder mods by drag and drop, search and filter lists, and sort by dependencies. Activation uses symlinks without modifying the mods themselves; Proton and Wine use copy mode because symlinks do not work across those boundaries. A built-in Steam Workshop browser provides queued and batch downloads, collection parsing, update checks, and subscriber and rating information. Workshop downloads require SteamCMD, though anonymous downloads do not require a Steam login. The conflict resolver detects mod conflicts and offers fix suggestions, and the application backs up before major changes. It can import and export ModsConfig.xml and export a text mod list with Workshop links. PyQt6-WebEngine is optional for the embedded browser. The project is GPL-3.0 licensed. The wiki notes that collections of 500 or more mods may take time to scan.
