What it is
Irony Mod Manager is a free, open-source mod manager for supported Paradox games and an alternative to the official Paradox launchers. It supports Crusader Kings III, Europa Universalis IV and V, Hearts of Iron IV, Imperator: Rome, Star Trek: Infinite, Stellaris, and Victoria 3. Users import mods manually, organize them into profiles, and get deterministic load ordering based on rules for each game.
Conflict tools differ by title: the solver fully supports Stellaris, provides analysis only for Hearts of Iron IV, and relies on merging for other supported games. Mod merging has several strategies and can automatically create patch mods when resolving conflicts. Users can also configure an external editor or merge/diff tool. The manager cannot upload or publish mods to the Steam Workshop.
Official binaries are published on GitHub Releases. Windows and Linux update downloads are signature-verified, while macOS updates require manual download and replacement. The macOS Finder bundle is unsigned and unnotarized, so opening it may require macOS approval. Windows 7 is no longer officially supported.
