RIEGL RiSCAN PRO
Horn, Austria
What it is
RIEGL RiSCAN PRO is paid Windows 11 software for operating and processing terrestrial laser scanning projects. It supports scanner data acquisition, visualization, and processing, including real-time field streaming and automated batch processing. Point-cloud tools cover automatic registration, multi-station adjustment, filtering, merging, colorization, meshing, and volume calculation. The software can combine multiple sensor inputs, including external camera data, to create colorized point clouds with additional attributes. It exports industry-standard formats, with listed outputs such as .e57, .las, .laz, .pts, .ptx, .obj, .stl, .dxf, .csv, and others. Its documented XML project structure supports transfer to third-party post-processing software. Plugins include RiPANO, LIS GeoTec, LIS TreeAnalyzer, and an AI image anonymizer for faces and license plates. Typical applications include architecture and façade measurement, as-built surveying, agriculture and forestry, topography, archaeology and cultural heritage, and city modeling. RIEGL says downloads are available exclusively to customers through its Members Area. Pricing is on request.
