Rebex Drive
Prague, Czech Republic
What it is
Rebex Drive is a free Windows utility that maps remote storage as network drives. Connected files appear in Windows Explorer and can be used by applications such as Notepad and Visual Studio. It supports SFTP, FTP, FTPS, and WebDAV, and multiple remote servers can be mapped at once when drive letters are available. SFTP connections use SSH encryption in transit and support password or SSH key authentication, host key verification, modern SSH algorithms, and agents such as OpenSSH or Pageant. FTP and FTPS connections include explicit or implicit TLS plus active or passive mode. WebDAV supports HTTP or HTTPS, Basic or Digest authentication, and self-signed certificates. Rebex lists Windows 10 and Windows 11, recommending Windows 11, along with Windows Server 2016 or later on its SFTP page. The preview is currently free to use.
