Rawback
What it is
Rawback is a photo-library platform for preserving, organizing and working with photographers’ images. Its tools include image analysis and ratings, people recognition, conversational editing, Dream recaps, travel stories, and album-story drafting. Camera files can be transferred using FTP, FTPS or SFTP; accepted formats include JPEG, PNG, HEIC/HEIF, WebP and several RAW formats. Originals do not expire by default while they remain within the storage allowance, and users can configure automatic archiving and optional deletion periods. The desktop client monitors local photo libraries and supports background uploads on Apple silicon Macs and Windows 10/11 x64. Rawback also lists web, API, iOS, Linux and macOS platforms. The iPhone app requires iOS 26 or later and is marked as coming soon. AI features start disabled and require consent; enabled features may send images or related content to providers depending on the feature and settings. The free tier includes 5 GB storage; paid plans start at $4.99 a month, with 200 GB on Lite.
