RapidRead

What it is

RapidRead is a web-based RSVP speed reader that presents one word at a time, avoiding scrolling and eye jitter. Its pacing changes with the text: dialogue, names, and unfamiliar words receive more time, while easier passages move faster. The installable progressive web app works offline. You can import your own EPUB or TXT files; PDF support is listed on the roadmap. Books remain in the browser by default. Pro cloud sync stores books, bookmarks, and reading progress in your private Supabase account and lets you continue across devices. RapidRead says it does not sell data or sell or lend titles. The Free plan costs nothing and includes Base Speed and colors. Pro costs $0.99 a month and unlocks everything else. Cancellation is available from the account page, with access continuing through the billing period; refund requests can be emailed within 7 days.
