Ledor
What it is
Ledor is an open-source reader for EPUB files and web articles, with RSVP, text-to-speech narration, and a traditional e-reader mode. Import EPUBs or save articles by URL; on Android, you can also share a page with Ledor. Text-to-speech uses system voices, has lock-screen controls, and supports speeds from 0.5× to 3×. Reading controls let you adjust colors, fonts, sizes, and positions, with light and dark themes and a live preview. The app says it works offline, storing books and progress on the device; optional Google Drive sync can carry your library, progress, bookmarks, ratings, sessions, and display settings between devices. Its privacy policy says Ledor collects no data and has no analytics, ads, tracking, accounts, or servers of its own. Weekly and monthly reading charts and a shareable monthly recap are calculated on the device. Ledor is MIT-licensed and available on Android, iOS, Linux, and the web. Its free plan includes all features, with no ads or account required.
