Quick Terrain Modeler
Chevy Chase, Maryland, United States
What it is
Quick Terrain Modeler is desktop software for exploiting 3D point clouds and terrain data, including LiDAR and other sensor sources. Its 64-bit Windows application displays point clouds and surface models in 3D scenes and can drape file-based or WMS imagery over them. Analysis tools cover 3D measurement, slope, flood, volumetric, communications, and helicopter landing-zone work. Classification and extraction can produce building footprints, roof vectors, centroids, DSM products, and DTM products. The software accepts LiDAR, radar, photogrammetry or imagery, and sonar, including multiple sensor types in one scene. Exports support GIS, imagery, CAD, PowerPoint, and Google Earth; DoD users can access WMS imagery and NGA GRID. It can operate offline, although some integrations require a network. Licensing is Node Lock, Portable, or Floating. A free trial is available with an organizational email. Pricing is on request.
