What it is
Qualflare is an AI-powered test management and observability platform that collects CI results, groups failures, detects flaky tests, and scores release risk. Teams can manage manual testing in its web application and use its CLI to upload automated test results. The CLI supports 23 testing frameworks, including JUnit, pytest, Jest, Playwright, Cypress, Newman, k6, and security tools. Quo, its AI assistant, analyzes coverage gaps, suggests test cases, generates test steps, and answers questions about test-management data. AI Failure Clusters group similar failures and provide root-cause summaries, fix suggestions, and severity information. Qualflare integrates with GitHub, GitLab, Jira, Slack, Discord, Jenkins, and custom webhooks; its REST API uses project-scoped access tokens. The Starter plan is free and includes one project, one active user, 200 test cases, and 100 test reports. Core is listed at $16.00 per month, with an early-adopter discount of $9.60/user/mo for the first 12 months. Mobile test results can be ingested, but Qualflare does not provision devices or run mobile tests itself. The company says customer data is stored in the European Union and that it does not currently hold SOC 2 Type II or ISO 27001 certification.
For and against
For
- CLI uploads results from 23 testing frameworks.
- AI Failure Clusters summarize causes and suggest fixes.
- REST API provides project-scoped access tokens.
- Free Starter includes one project and 100 test reports.
Against
- Starter is limited to one active user.
- Starter retention defaults to 30 days.
- Does not provision devices or run mobile tests.
- Does not currently hold SOC 2 Type II or ISO 27001 certification.
The verdict
Qualflare brings test management, CI result collection, failure analysis, and release-risk scoring together. Review the plan limits and retention periods, and note that its mobile scope is limited to ingesting results.
Who it suits
Qualflare may suit software teams that want to manage manual tests and collect automated results in one platform. It can ingest mobile test results, but teams needing device provisioning or mobile test execution will need another solution for those tasks.
