QTerminal

What it is

QTerminal is a lightweight Qt terminal emulator based on QTermWidget and maintained by the LXQt project. It can also be used independently of the LXQt desktop environment. Sessions can be arranged in multiple tabs or vertical and horizontal splits, and a dropdown mode offers another way to access the terminal. QTerminal includes text search, a configurable interface, a shortcut editor, system clipboard integration and bookmarks for commands. The project lists Linux and macOS as supported platforms and says official binary packages are provided by major Linux and BSD distributions. QTerminal is free under GPLv2 or any later version, with a listed plan of free. Building from source requires Qt 6.6.0 or later, QTermWidget, CMake 3.18.0 or later and lxqt-build-tools. The optional libcanberra dependency enables terminal bells. The LXQt project lists discussions, a bug tracker, a wiki and community chat channels for support.
