Punchbowl
What it is
Punchbowl is an online invitation and event-planning service for hosts. It lets users customize invitations, send them by email, link, or text, and manage guest responses. Invitations can include event details, RSVP choices, automatic reminders, guest messaging, and gift registries. Hosts can also create potluck lists, poll guests, track RSVPs in real time, and add a co-host. The service offers personalized digital greeting cards delivered by email or text. Punchbowl is available on the web and through Android and iOS apps; with permission, its mobile apps can import contacts from a phone’s address book. Guest-list capacity depends on the option: the base option supports up to 50 guests, Premium covers 51–100, Platinum 101–500, and Business up to 5,000. Text invitations are limited to guests with U.S. or Canadian phone numbers, and the service does not fulfill printed invitation orders. New events require paid membership. Membership starts at $5.99/mo, with a 7-day trial that requires payment details and is followed by a subscription unless canceled.
