What it is
PaperStream Capture is Windows software for digitizing, capturing and indexing business documents through scanning workflows. Users can scan, sort and save documents in searchable PDF and other file formats, with separation options such as page count, blank pages, barcodes, patch codes, OCR, document form and file size. Its AIQC function helps select images for data capture and quality control. Default settings are included, and advanced users can create custom profiles; administrators can lock profiles and use Scanner Central Admin to manage fleet updates and profiles. Output options include PDF, PDF/A, searchable PDF, TIFF, JPEG, BMP and other formats, with FTP and SharePoint linkage listed. It supports batch scanning and 28 OCR languages.
