Opero Reservations
What it is
Opero Reservations is a host-managed booking and seating system within Opero’s restaurant operating platform. Restaurant teams use its reservation book, walk-in waitlist, and floor plan, which are included on every plan. Staff seat parties on a live floor; the table updates and a check opens with the party’s covers set. Each location can have its own tables, seat counts, and sections, managed through a shared dashboard. Opero does not currently provide a consumer-facing self-booking widget. The wider platform also includes point of sale, kitchen display, kiosk, QR and online ordering, inventory, scheduling, payments, loyalty, CRM, and an AI command center. It is available on web, Android, and iOS; the web app runs on standard iPads and Android tablets. Plans are billed per location month-to-month: Starter is $99 a month, Growth is $249 a month, and Pro is $499 a month. Enterprise pricing is custom. In-person card payments require one card reader per location, purchased from Opero.
For and against
For
- Reservation book, waitlist, and floor plan on every plan
- Seating updates the live floor and opens a check
- Location-specific tables and sections in a shared dashboard
- Web, Android, and iOS availability
Against
- No consumer-facing self-booking widget
- In-person card payments require an Opero card reader per location
- Starter begins at $99 a month
The verdict
Opero combines host-stand workflows with a broader restaurant operating system. Consider the lack of guest self-booking and the required card reader if you plan to take in-person card payments.
Who it suits
Opero Reservations suits restaurant teams that want staff to manage bookings, walk-ins, and seating at the host stand. It is not designed for guests to book through a self-service widget.
