modeFRONTIER
Trieste, Italy
What it is
modeFRONTIER is paid engineering software that automates simulation workflows and optimizes designs by connecting third-party CAD and CAE tools with in-house engineering solvers. It can combine multiple disciplines in unified workflows and define several optimization strategies in one project file. Design exploration includes experiments, response surface models, multi-objective optimization, robust design, reliability analysis and uncertainty quantification. Modeling capabilities include surrogate models, machine-learning algorithms and reduced-order models, while ESTECO identifies pilOPT as its proprietary self-adaptive optimization algorithm. Integrations include Abaqus, Adams, ANSYS Workbench, CATIA and ANSA, with custom connectors for other software. The pyFRONTIER and pyCONSOLE APIs connect Python workflows and libraries such as scikit-learn and SciPy optimize. Workflows can run in parallel, on local grid computing, or through remote HPC and cloud resources. Connecting to ESTECO VOLTA adds collaboration, distributed execution and traceability. Pricing is available on request.
