What it is
Mobius SLIP is a web-based social learning system for creating, reviewing and critiquing assignments. Every assignment follows Submission, Review and Reaction phases: students submit work, review peers and respond to reviews they receive. Students act as authors and reviewers, with anonymous review unless an instructor directs otherwise. The system reports attainment, bias, controversy and self-assessment accuracy for both roles. Suggested peer grades depend on peer-review reliability, and instructors can override them. Instructors can monitor activity in real time, review student work, provide feedback and inspect course and assignment analytics. Instructors may create unlimited courses. Each student can upload one submission file up to 10MB; videos must be hosted elsewhere and submitted as links. The FAQ suggests Dropbox or Google Drive for files and YouTube or Vimeo for videos.
