What it is
Mixbook is a photo-book and personalized photo-product service available on the web and iOS. Its Story Mode uses AI to arrange photos, build layouts, optionally add captions, and produce three book versions. For more control, Mixbook Studio lets users adjust fonts, colors, backgrounds, shapes, stickers, layouts, and text. Projects can import photos from Facebook, SmugMug, and Google Photos, and users can invite collaborators who also have Mixbook accounts. Standard softcover and hardcover books support up to 400 pages; Layflat options have lower limits, with Signature Hardcover Layflat supporting up to 100 pages and Premium Hardcover Layflat up to 90. Mixbook says each created book is backed up for possible reprinting. Softcover photo books start at $14.99, paid once, hardcover at $29.99, paid once, Layflat at $74.99, paid once, and Luxe Albums at $99.99, paid once. The iPhone and iPad app runs best on iOS 16.0 or later; Android is coming soon. A free plan is available, and Mixbook+ is $9.99 a month billed monthly through Apple for US iOS customers.
