Memento helps groups collect memories through Group Videos and Shared Albums on web and iOS. For a Group Video, an organizer can gather contributors’ clips, put them in order, trim them, and add colors, music, text, photos, and captions. A video can contain any number of clips and up to 60 minutes of content. Memento says a video can be redone without an additional fee, but a subscription is required to finish and share it; a Platinum Subscription allows MP4 downloads. Shared Albums collect and share photos, with QR-code submissions, review and approval, and customizable slideshows. New customers can try Shared Albums for three days, limited to 10 photos, before a paid subscription begins. Group Video clips and completed videos are private by default, and organizers control access with a unique viewing link. Contributors can be invited by email, phone number, or shareable link. The iPhone app requires iOS 16.0 or later; Shared Albums work on any device. Memento says it responds to support email requests every day, including holidays.
