Mazaika
What it is
Mazaika creates mosaic pictures by replacing regions of a source image with matching pictures from a collection. You can change individual tiles manually and adjust color correction, blending, sharpening, rendering mode, repetition, and batch processing. Full versions export JPG, TIF, PSB, BMP, TXT, and HTML files, including clickable, zoomable HTML pages, with unlimited mosaic resolution. A free 30-day trial costs nothing and limits output to 2500x2500 pixels, tile size to 32x32, and export to JPG. Mac and Windows full-version licenses cost $49.95, paid once. Mazaika runs on Windows and macOS, with Linux support through Crossover (WINE). The Mac edition can use iPhoto, Aperture, Apple Photos, folders, or individual files. The applications state that they do not collect personal data and keep settings on the device.
