Maizzle
What it is
Maizzle is a free, open-source framework for developers who build HTML emails with Vue and Tailwind CSS. It works in standalone projects, monorepos, or as a Vite plugin inside an existing application. Its development server offers live previews, hot module replacement, device resizing, compatibility checks, dark-mode emulation, search, and test-email sending. Tailwind settings are adapted for email, including Outlook utilities and variants aimed at clients such as Gmail and iOS. More than 30 render-tested components cover layouts, buttons, images, headings, dark-mode images, and code blocks. Configurable transformers can inline CSS, remove unused styles, minify output, and apply other email optimizations. The CLI scaffolds projects, runs the server, builds HTML, and creates plaintext versions, while the API exposes render(), build(), and serve(). Maizzle compiles to pure HTML for any email provider and exports HTML through API, self-hosted, and web platforms.
