Lintalist
What it is
Lintalist is a free Windows application for keeping searchable snippets in bundles and inserting a chosen snippet into the active program. Snippets can contain HTML, Markdown, RTF, and images. They can also insert the current date or time, ask for basic input, present a selection list, or run a script. Search includes regular, fuzzy, regular-expression, and experimental Magic modes. Bundles may load according to part of the active window title, while keyboard shortcuts and abbreviations trigger snippets without opening the search window. Plugins and AutoHotkey scripts extend its behavior. Bundles are simple text files that users can maintain and exchange. Lintalist stores settings and bundles in its program folder instead of the Windows registry. Windows 7, 8, 10, and 11 are listed as supported; XP SP3 and Vista are untested. The destination folder needs write access for bundle updates.
