LANDR Samples
Montreal, Quebec, Canada
What it is
LANDR Samples is a royalty-free library for music production with over 3 million sounds, including one-shots, breaks, loops, chords, beats, and vocals. Users can search by genre, instrument, sound effect, BPM, or key. Its Selector tool uses AI to recommend related sounds based on a selected sample. LANDR describes the samples as usable in recordings, including commercial releases, subject to its terms. A free collection lists 62 packs and 1,423 samples, and users can access a selection of over 6,000 free royalty-free samples. The free Samples plugin connects the library to a DAW, where users can browse, audition, and drag sounds into tracks. The plugin works with DAWs that host AU or VST3 formats and supports macOS 10.13 or later and Windows 10. Samples are in WAV format, and stems are included. Paid downloads use credits: each sample costs one credit, though packs may vary. Unused credits roll over while a plan remains active, but remaining credits are lost at the end of the billing cycle after cancellation. A LANDR account is required to use the service.
