KNTRCTR
What it is
KNTRCTR is subcontractor management software for heavy civil and general contractors, focused on organizing bids and tracking subcontractor performance. Prime contractors can share job dates, scope, requirements, and attachments with invited crews in one posting, then compare and level bids while keeping each original bid visible. Rex AI reviews bids for outliers, unanswered items, and past reviews, and can read attachments before an award. It provides analysis rather than choosing the subcontractor; the user makes the award decision. Invited subcontractors can open jobs, ask questions, and submit bids for free. Following an award, a shared job workspace supports contacts, insurance, and checklists. Performance reviews stay double-blind until both parties submit them. The product works alongside existing estimating and project management systems, but does not handle estimating takeoffs, project scheduling, or cost control. The first prime-contractor seat is $250 a month, month to month, with the first 30 days free. Each additional seat costs $50 a month.

KNTRCTR centers on bid organization and subcontractor performance rather than broader estimating or project controls. Its AI can surface bid observations, but the contractor retains the award decision and should account for the feature's beta status.
