Impinj RAIN RFID Software
Seattle, Washington, USA
What it is
Impinj RAIN RFID Software manages edge devices and processes information from smart items for applications in retail, logistics, manufacturing, healthcare, and other industries. The hybrid platform includes Speedway Connect, which lets users configure an Impinj reader or gateway remotely through a web graphical interface and view inventory, location, and direction data. ItemEncode uses pipelined Speedway readers for serialized tag encoding at up to 9,500 RAIN RFID tags per minute. It works with Impinj and other RAIN RFID chips, supports several serialization and encoding schemes, and can verify encoding and respond to issues. Machine licenses currently support Impinj Speedway readers. The Impinj Authentication Service uses cloud-based cryptographic methods to authenticate supported chips, including Impinj M700 series, and offers an API for authentication requests. Impinj says its Authenticity solution can verify hundreds of items in seconds across ranges from a few centimeters to 10 meters. Partner software supports inventory, asset, shipment, and work-in-process tracking. Pricing is on request.
