Greenlight

What it is

Greenlight is a free, open-source client for xCloud and Xbox home streaming. It streams video and audio from Xbox One and Xbox Series consoles and accepts gamepad or keyboard controls; rumble is available on xCloud. An online friends list shows which friends are online. Greenlight runs on Linux, macOS, Windows, and Steam Deck, and its WebUI can expose the service over a network to Chromium-based browsers. Downloads include Flathub installations and precompiled release binaries. The software is written in JavaScript and TypeScript. Version 2.4.0 changed authentication from XAL to MSAL and added English, Russian, and Ukrainian localization; version 2.4.2 added German. The V2 release is in maintenance mode, receiving critical bug fixes without planned new features. Greenlight supports Xbox One, Xbox Series, and Xbox Cloud Gaming, with a maximum resolution of 1080p, console support, and local co-op support.
