What it is
FormSubmit is a cloud form backend that sends HTML form submissions to email without PHP, JavaScript, or backend code. Setup involves pointing a form’s action to a FormSubmit URL, naming its fields, and confirming the email address after the first submission. Designers and developers can set Reply-To, redirect submitters to a custom thank-you URL, choose an email subject, CC other addresses, send an autoresponse, and select from three email templates. Spam controls include Google reCAPTCHA v2 and v3, optional honeypot fields, and submission validation. Forms can trigger a webhook whenever a new submission arrives, while AJAX supports cross-origin submission without leaving the page. File uploads are allowed up to a combined 10 MB per submission. Submissions remain available for 30 days and can be retrieved through the API, which permits five accesses per day. Uploaded files are not retained in that archive or available through the API. The free plan costs nothing and includes unlimited forms and submissions.
