Format

Format is a portfolio service available on the web, iOS, and Android. It includes custom domains, client proofing, selling tools, video hosting, and client galleries. Portfolio analytics and code export are not included. There is no free plan, though a 14-day trial is listed; plan prices are not provided. The plan limits vary substantially. Basic allows 10 pages, 70 images, three client galleries, and 2 GB per file transfer, with no store products or hosted video minutes. Pro allows unlimited pages, 1,500 images, 15 store products, 15 minutes of hosted video, 100 GB of image storage, and 50 client galleries. Pro Plus allows unlimited pages and images, 1,000 store products, 120 minutes of hosted video, 1 TB of image storage, and 250 client galleries. These limits give photographers and other portfolio owners concrete capacity differences to weigh, particularly for images, sales, video, and client proofing. Format was founded in 2010 and is headquartered in Toronto, Canada.

Format offers portfolio, client-work, sales, and video features, with capacity varying by plan. Review the plan limits and trial period to see whether they fit your portfolio needs.

Format may suit portfolio owners who want client proofing, selling tools, video hosting, and a custom domain. The plan limits can help those users weigh capacity for images, products, video, and client galleries.
