Falcon
159 rue Amelot, 75011 Paris, France
What it is
Falcon is a creative hybrid instrument that combines sampling and synthesis for music production. It has 24 oscillators: 16 synthesis oscillators and eight sampling oscillators, supported by a modular engine, deep modulation, scriptable MIDI processors, and event tools. More than 100 effects, 1,600 factory presets, and over 500 wavetables are included. Falcon runs standalone or as a VST, VST3, AU, or AAX plugin. It supports Windows 10/11 and macOS 10.14–15 on Intel and ARM, channel configurations up to 10.2, sample rates up to 192 kHz, and expressive MPE controllers with dedicated presets. A standalone license starts at $299 one-time. SonicPass costs €24 per month or €240 per year and includes Falcon, more than 1,000 instruments and effects, and future releases. SonicBundle costs $799 once for 116 UVI products. Registration needs a free iLok account and internet; offline use follows activation.
