What it is
eVSM is Windows value stream mapping software for drawing, analyzing, and sharing maps across manufacturing, office, healthcare, and supply network operations. It supports a workflow from current-state mapping and waste identification through improvement ideas, future-state design, and implementation planning. eVSM Mix maps mixed-model production without averaging demand, cycle times, or routings between products. Built-in variables, equations, charts, capacity and OEE calculations, lead-time calculations, and activity-based costing support analysis. Excel files can be imported or exported, and ERP Import converts ERP data in Excel into eVSM map data. Maps can be viewed in Visio without eVSM or exported to PDF, but editing requires eVSM. Version 12 requires Windows 10 or 11, Visio 2019 or later, and Excel 2019 or later; those applications are separate purchases. Licenses include technical support, and a 30-day trial is listed.
For and against
For
