What it is
Envestnet | Yodlee provides a RESTful financial-data aggregation API for personal finance, lending, wealth-management and other financial applications. It can search institutions, add or update accounts, retrieve aggregated information and send change notifications. One API can consolidate balances, transactions, expense categories and details from bank, credit-card and investment accounts. FastLink offers an embeddable browser account-linking flow with managed authentication. Transaction enrichment adds descriptions, merchant names, categories and geolocation. Developers can request refresh while a user waits, use daily background refreshes and receive webhook notifications. Supported institutions may use OAuth connections with user consent. A free Sandbox follows developer registration and includes five preconfigured users with sample data, but no live-site linking. Pricing for live access is provided by sales rather than displayed. Yodlee lists API and web platforms, with security, compliance and data-deletion controls described for its service.
