What it is
Easy Takeoffs is browser-based construction takeoff software for measuring PDF plan sets and producing quantities. Uploaded plans can receive automatic sheet names and drawing-scale detection. Measurement tools cover lines, polylines, areas, counts, angles, and curved segments, with snapping to drawing geometry. Users can search text across sheets and find matching symbols for review and counting. Material assembly templates calculate quantities with waste factors; users can create custom templates or browse a community library. Takeoffs export as annotated PDFs or CSV files and can be shared through read-only links. The application runs in modern browsers on Mac, Windows, iPad, Chromebook, and Android without installation. Pro Monthly costs $39 a month, billed monthly, while Pro Annual costs $399 a year, billed annually. Both plans list full features, unlimited storage, unlimited projects, unlimited documents, and one user. A 14-day trial is available, but there is no free plan. Each account is for one user.
