DragonWriter is an online app for drafting, organizing, and sharing stories with a community of writers. Its distraction-free editor autosaves work and includes scene version history, story-structure tools, notes, and a codex for characters and locations. Writers can review streaks, pace, goals, word additions and deletions, readability and tone signals, and visualizations of a story’s cast and places. Prompts, a name generator, story dice, and a Magic 8 Ball offer additional writing aids. Members can publish to a public library, invite beta readers to give feedback scene by scene, use a forum, and join writing challenges or group sprints.
