Dishboard

What it is
Dishboard is a free web app for small food businesses calculating dish costs, gross profit, and margins across dine-in and delivery. Each menu item can combine ingredients, prep recipes, packaging, extra costs, notes, and method, with live per-portion cost and margin calculations. Plain-text recipe pasting can recognize amounts, units, and ingredient names, while entries needing a decision are flagged. Cups, tablespoons, and teaspoons convert to gram weights when ingredients are in its USDA-based catalog. Delivery models can include DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, or custom channels with commissions and other assumptions. Printable Recipe Cards hide cost figures by default; Costing Sheets show costs, margins, and suggested prices. Dishboard supports CSV ingredient import, CSV export, and Costing Sheet exports. Its no-subscription plan has no limits and includes every feature, with unlimited menu items, ingredients, supplies, prep recipes, and delivery partners. It does not provide POS, inventory counts, supplier ordering, accounting, payroll, or staff scheduling.
