DbSchema
Fürstenfeldbruck, Germany
What it is
DbSchema is a desktop tool for designing, documenting, and working with SQL and NoSQL databases. It supports more than 70 databases through JDBC and can retrieve the required driver. Users can create interactive schema diagrams, separate database subsystems into diagrams, or design a physical schema offline and save it in a local .dbs file. For connected databases, schema synchronization compares the model with the database and generates migration SQL for review. The SQL editor provides schema-aware autocomplete; a visual query builder arranges tables, joins, and filters and shows the SQL before it runs. DbSchema can also publish interactive HTML5 schema documentation that opens in a browser without installation or a license. Connections run directly between the user's computer and the database, with configured SSL and SSH tunnels available. Community Edition is free. The shared installer requires no registration and includes a 15-day Architect trial, extendable by 15 days. Pro Monthly costs $29.40 per month plus taxes; Architect Monthly costs $47.04 per month plus taxes.
