What it is
Cristie CloneManager Replication provides continuous system replication across physical, virtual, and cloud environments. It supports file-based and block-based replication, with block-based operation able to lower recovery point objectives compared with file-based replication. Systems can replicate directly to VHDX, QCOW2, and VMDK virtual disk images, with AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud, and S3 blob storage named as targets. CloneManager monitors source systems and can fail over automatically after an outage, including DNS changes when needed. Multiple systems, failover, and failback can be managed from one interface. Teams can create sandbox recovery environments, including on physical systems, without interrupting ongoing replication. RPO monitoring includes reports and email notices when targets are missed. Cristie Recovery Hub provides ring-fenced environments with unique S3 access and secret keys for each client. The support matrix lists Windows, Linux, VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, AWS EC2, Microsoft Azure, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Replication costs $500 a year per protected system.
