Cradlepoint SD-WAN
Boise, Idaho, United States
What it is
Cradlepoint SD-WAN provides cellular-focused software-defined networking through Cradlepoint branch routers and the NetCloud Exchange platform. It can manage traffic over LTE, 5G standalone and nonstandalone networks, wired links, and Wi‑Fi used as WAN. NetCloud Exchange identifies more than 3,500 applications, while edge routers identify more than 1,000. Administrators can apply application policies that direct traffic through chosen cellular providers, WAN interfaces, or interface groups. Routers evaluate link condition and can switch connections automatically when configured thresholds detect a failed or degraded link. Usage views cover cellular providers, accounts, routers, and modems, with controls for steering traffic away from links nearing data limits. NetCloud Exchange can align modem interfaces with 5G standalone network slices and direct applications to them. The service uses a zero-trust foundation and requires Secure Connect. Gateway deployment supports Azure, AWS, KVM, and VMware. Requirements include licenses, Secure Connect, and NetCloud OS 7.22.110 or newer. Pricing is available on request, with a 90-day trial.
