Clusterfudge
What it is
Clusterfudge is a native desktop client for managing multiple Kubernetes clusters. It connects to several kubeconfig contexts at once and detects EKS, GKE, AKS, K3s, and OpenShift. The app supports more than 27 Kubernetes resource types and custom resources with real-time watch updates. Helm lifecycle management uses an embedded Go SDK, so a separate Helm CLI dependency is not required. For debugging, it can run Claude Code, Gemini CLI, or ChatGPT Codex locally. Before context is passed to the selected AI tool, the app redacts secrets, passwords, tokens, and API keys. Its security scanner checks pods against Kubernetes Pod Security Standards and provides remediation advice. Multi-tab PTY sessions, searchable log streaming with severity highlighting, and a file-backed audit trail are included; the trail prunes itself after 90 days. The maker says there are no external network calls unless requested, and no telemetry, analytics, or tracking. Clusterfudge is open source under the MIT license and free forever, with no account required.
