What it is
Cloudi-Fi Cloud NAC is a cloud service for controlling access to wired and Wi-Fi networks. It runs 802.1X authentication and policy enforcement while switches and access points remain the enforcement points. One policy set can cover both connection types, using 802.1X, RADIUS and EAP-TLS. Authentication options include certificates, directory credentials and MAC authentication bypass for devices that cannot run a supplicant. Access rules can assign dynamic VLANs, apply roles, or isolate and quarantine unknown or unmanaged endpoints. Identity checks can use Microsoft Entra ID, LDAP, Active Directory, client certificates or approved MAC addresses. Managed endpoints can receive EAP-TLS certificates through an MDM such as Microsoft Intune. A cloud captive portal lets visitors, contractors and personal devices use self-registration or sponsored access. Authentication results and session data are retained for audits across sites. Cloudi-Fi identifies multi-site organizations, networks with many IoT devices, SASE or Zero Trust programs, post-merger environments and sites replacing end-of-life NAC appliances as suitable cases.
