What it is
Checkrun is a cloud-based payment platform and mobile app for businesses and accounting firms managing, approving, tracking and paying business bills. Users can pay vendors by paper check or ACH bank transfer, with remittance advice for electronic payments. Checkrun syncs payment data with QuickBooks Online in two directions and in real time; payment activity and check images can also be attached to QuickBooks payments for reference. Teams can create approval workflows, roles and permissions, while users can approve payments and sign checks in the mobile app. Checks can be printed locally on existing, preprinted or blank stock, or sent through the Print and Mail service. The platform generates Positive Pay files and supports more than 200 bank formats. Check customization includes logos, watermarks and a secure QR code for payees to validate authenticity. Checkrun is available on Android, iOS and the web. The Business subscription is $50 a month, billed monthly, with unlimited users and up to 10 bank accounts. A $199 one-time implementation fee applies; local check printing and ACH file export are $0.35 per payment, and Print and Mail is $1.95 per check.
