Cemu
What it is
Cemu is free, open-source software for emulating Wii U games and applications on Windows, Linux, and macOS computers. The project says most Wii U games and homebrew run in a playable state. It emulates the GamePad, Pro Controller, and Classic Controller, with partial Wiimote support; keyboard and USB controllers also work. Cemu supports graphics upscaling, netplay, and most online features. Pretendo support is experimental and limited to 2.0 experimental releases. Listed graphics APIs are OpenGL 4.5 and Vulkan 1.2. The minimum memory requirement is 4 GB RAM, with 8 GB or more recommended, while Intel GPU support is limited and Vulkan is recommended for Intel GPUs. Graphic packs customize games and can be downloaded inside Cemu. Windows offers installer and portable releases, Linux versions appear on Flathub, and the native macOS build is experimental.
