What it is
Bonfire is web-based peer-to-peer fundraising software for nonprofits. Supporters can create and share T-shirt fundraisers on an organization’s behalf, with money raised sent directly to the nonprofit. Organizations can build profiles containing their story, logo, cover photo, social and website links, and selected campaigns. A no-code editor supports campaign text, images, and videos, while reusable design templates let teams or supporters customize campaigns for events or awareness days. Organizations can view or download supporter names, email addresses, phone numbers, and purchase or donation amounts, then export CSV reports for CRM import. Payouts can be made through PayPal, check, or ACH. Donor data can sync with GoFundMe Pro and be sent to CRMs such as Salesforce. The fundraising platform is free for verified 501(c)3 nonprofits; additional contributions carry an 8% processing fee, reduced to 3.5% for verified nonprofits. Nonprofits outside the U.S. cannot currently be verified.
