BenchApp
What it is
BenchApp helps sports teams organize schedules, rosters, attendance, communication, player stats and team finances. It is intended for coaches, captains, commissioners, parents and players, and supports sports including hockey, soccer, baseball, basketball, football, volleyball, lacrosse, pickleball and golf. Teams can gather RSVPs by email or text and set automatic reminders. Messaging includes team, group and private conversations, plus polls, bulletins, line-ups, photos and GIFs. Payment tools track fees and expenses, accept online credit-card payments and send overdue reminders. BenchApp says Stripe processes payments and subscriptions, and that it does not have access to credit-card details. Players can join, RSVP and message for free on every plan; text RSVP replies do not require an app or account. The service is available on Android, iOS and web. The Free plan includes unlimited roster, scheduling, RSVP tracking, team messaging, player stats and payment tracking. PRO is $9 USD per month; league plans cost $10 USD per month or $100 USD per year.
