BackupMod
What it is
BackupMod is a free, self-hosted mod for making and restoring backups of a Minecraft server. Administrators can schedule backups several times a day, check the time until the next run, and set a retention limit that deletes the oldest files. Backups can be named, renamed, listed, deleted, or restored by name or by selecting the latest backup. Restoring a selected backup disconnects all players and stops the server. The mod can exclude files or folders and later include them again. Its upload command downloads a ZIP from a direct URL for use as a backup; Google Drive links do not work. Commands are restricted to server operators or authorized players, and normal or detailed logging can be toggled. Backup files are stored in the server’s backups/ folder. Installation is in the server’s mods folder; Modrinth lists Fabric and dedicated servers, with compatibility for Minecraft Java Edition versions 1.21.8–1.21.10. The project is MIT licensed. Listed language codes include English, German, Italian, French, Spanish, and Polish.
