AudioAuditor
What it is
AudioAuditor is a free, open-source toolkit for audio analysis and playback on Windows and Linux. It checks audio for characteristics such as fake lossless files, AI-generated audio, MQA, fake stereo, and clipping, and lists support for 35 formats across lossless, lossy, and specialty categories. Analysis options include spectrum, spectrogram, waveform, loudness, dynamics, and phase or channel difference views; waveform and spectrogram comparisons can be stacked, overlaid, or wiped. The built-in player offers native 96/192 kHz playback, a 10-band parametric EQ, spatial audio, and synced lyrics with karaoke highlighting. Integrations include Discord Rich Presence, several scrobbling services, and music-service slots. Analysis runs locally without telemetry or analytics, and optional network features can be disabled with Offline Mode. The opt-in SH Labs AI detection is an exception: it sends the complete audio file through a Cloudflare proxy to the SH Labs API. AI-generated music detection is in beta and is intended as a lead, not a final determination.
