Aiseptor Secure Browser
What it is
Aiseptor Secure Browser is a lockdown browser for secure exams on macOS and Windows. It blocks app switching and combines exam-window controls with operating-system signals and a default-deny network policy intended to stop AI overlays, on-device language models, remote-access tools, and attempts to use a second device. Native builds for both operating systems use the same enforcement. For BYOD sessions, the user-space agent can be deployed in about 30 seconds without admin rights and removes itself when the session ends.
The browser is in beta, with early access offered to assessment platforms, certification programs, and enterprise hiring teams. It does not require a webcam or microphone and does not log keystrokes, capture clipboard data, or record screens. Exam traffic uses a per-session WireGuard tunnel; dashboard and API traffic is TLS-only, and stored data is encrypted with AES-256. Post-exam records default to 90 days, configurable by an institution from 7 to 365 days. A free plan covers five sessions, each up to three hours. Paid per-session pricing is quoted based on volume, assessment type, and payment terms.
